The death of James C. Gentry which occurred yesterday forenoon from consumption, calls to mind the other deaths in this family from the same disease. We believe but two children and the mother remain from a large family. Slow consumption has taken them and hardly a year has passed during the past seven years without taking with it a member of this stricken family. Mr. Gentry was for many years a properous merchant of Morning Sun, Iowa, but for the past few years has been unable to leave his bed.
Deceased was sixty years of age, and was an old soldier.
