Mother, Son Taken In Death

Mrs. Myrtle Taylor, 83, mother of Mrs. Glen Stanford, 202 E. Madison, died Monday morning at the Burlington Hospital where she had been a patient for seven weeks. Mrs. Taylor has made her home with Mr. and Mrs. Stanford for the past seven years.

Her son, Francis Taylor, 64, of Peoria, Ill., died Saturday in Peoria. Last rites were held Tuesday. He is survived by his widow.

Funeral services for Mrs. Taylor were held today at 1:30 p.m. at the Giles-Elliott Funeral Home in Burlington and burial was in Memorial Cemetery.

Mrs. Taylor formerly lived in Burlington and was a member of the Methodist faith.

She is survived by four children, Mrs. Stanford, Mrs. Goldie Hollenbeck and Don and Keith Taylor of Burlington.

Mrs. Myrtle Taylor is also survived by eight grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren, three step-grandchildren and four step great-grandchildren.
