Mr. August (Gus) H. Warner, 63, 1106 Franklin, died at Burlington hospital Friday (February 12, 1965) at 6:30 a.m. after an extended illness. He had been hospitalized 12 days.

He was born September 15, 1881, in Burlington, the son of George and Elizabeth Litzenberger Warner. He was employed as a plumber at the Iowa Army Ammunition plant. He was a life resident.

He married Margaret Martin August 9, 1906, in Burlington. He was a member of the Eagles, Moose, First United Church of Christ, New London country club, was a 32nd Degree Mason, and a member of the Plumbers' Union.

Survivors include his wife; a daughter, Margo Hastings, Arkansas; two sisters, Mrs. William Hiltz and Mrs. William Bradfield, both of Burlington; and several nieces and nephews. His parents, a son, four brothers and three sisters are dead.

The body is at Prugh's chapel.

Funeral services for Mr. August H. (Gus) Warner, who died Friday, will be held in Prugh's chapel, Monday at 10 a.m. Reverend Donald V. Klohr will officiate. Burial will be in Aspen Grove.

Masonic memorial services will be held in Prugh's chapel Sunday at 7:30 p.m.
