70-YEAR-OLD NATIVE DIES AT HOME HERE

Frederick A. Schulze, 70 years old, 408 South Oarfield avenue, died at his home at 7:00 o'clock yesterday morning after an illness of nearly a year.

Mr. Schulze had been employed as foreman of the coffee department of John Blaul's Sons company for the last fourteen years. He was born in Burlington February 26, 1858, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Fred Schulze. When six years old, he moved with his parents to Dallas City, Illinois, where he lived until 1914.

He was married in Dallas City, October 23, 1889, to Miss Mary Lung. He was a member of Grace Methodist church, and of the Hawkeye Natives.

Surviving are his widow, three daughters, Mrs. Carl J. Myers of Alton, Illinois; Mrs. Esther Gracey and Mrs. Alvin Wuellner of Burlington: two brothers, Henry A. Schulze and William C. Schulze; two sisters, Mrs. William Zurmuehlen and Miss Minnie Schulze, and four grandchildren.

A short funeral service will be held from the Burnett-Wallin funeral home Thursday afternoon at four o'clock. The body win be taken to Dallas City for burial. A service at that place will be held from the Methodist church Friday morning at 10 o'clock.
