Mrs. Lyde W. Burgus, 92, died at 9:25 p.m. Saturday, March 20 , at the Mediapolis Care Center.

She was born November 7, 1883, in Cairo, Nebraska, the daughter of William and Amanda Burkholder Kellogg. She married Charles Burgus February 24, 1904, in Kingston; he preceded her in death.

She was a member of the Kingston Methodist church and the church society.

Surviving: A daughter-in-law, Lillian Burgus, Mediapolis; three grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.

Funeral: 2 p.m. Tuesday, Fry chapel, Mediapolis, Reverend Clarence Burns; North Walker cemetery. A memorial has been established at the chapel to the Kingston Methodist church.
