John William Miller, Danville, died March 25 (1953) in Mercy hospital after a brief illness. He was 93 years old.

Miller was born in Iowa, November 28, 1859, the son of Henry and Mary Miller, and was a retired farmer. He was of the Lutheran faith. He was married to Louisa Hingst, who preceded him in death.

Surviving are ten children (sic: listed are all 11), Edward Miller, Danville; Walter Miller, New London; Mrs. Nellie Schnupper, Danville; Amel Miller, Burlington; Arthur Miller, Burlington; Clarence, Middletown; Henry Miller, Danville; Alvie Miller, Burlington; Mrs. Vercie Trueblood, Knoxville, Iowa; George Miller, Danville, and Everett Miller, Danville.

Also surviving are one brother, Fred Miller, New London; 27 grandchildren and 21 great grandchildren. Four brothers and sisters are dead.

Last rites will be held in Prugh's chapel at 3:30 p.m. Saturday. The Reverend Elmer Gumper will officiate. Burial will be in the Prairie Grove cemetery.
