Arthur David Andrew, 78, of 2604 Florence Avenue, died Wednesday, January 6, 1993, at Burlington Medical Center.

Born January 21, 1914, in Lima, Illinois, he was the son of Daniel and Gay Katorea Etta Conner Andrew. He married Pearl Marie Fehse on December 9, 1939, in Burlington.

Mr. Andrew was a grinder at the Foundry and later worked at Campbell Chain Company. He was an avid fisherman and hunter.

Survivors include his wife; two daughters, Merry-Jo Gay Putnam of Lakeland, Florida, and Carol-Lee Joy Martin of Burlington; two grandchildren; two brothers, Elva Andrew of Ursa, Illinois, and Leo Andrew of Quincy, Illinois; and a sister, Mary Seals of Illinois.

He was preceded in death by a son, his parents, two sisters and three brothers.

A graveside service for Mr. Andrew will be at 1 p.m. Friday at Memorial Park Cemetery, Burlington, with the Reverend Maurice Moore of Sunnyside Baptist Church officiating. Friends may call from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. Thursday at Hass Funeral Home, Burlington.
