Mrs. Elsie Distelhorst

Mrs. Elsie Distelhorst, 86, Hotel Newcomb, Quincy, 111., died Wednesday, Nov. 8, in Blessing hospital, Quincy.

She was the daughter of Henry and Dorothea Meyer Sommers, and was born March 19, 1886, in Burlington. She was married to Henry C. Distelhorst in Burlington on June 19, 1907; he died in 1951.

Mrs. Distelhorst was a member of First United Presbyterian church of Quincy.

Surviving: A son, Henry S. Distelhorst, Elgin, Ill., and two brothers, Werner and Elwin Sommers, both of Chicago.

A graveside service will be conducted in Porter cemetery at 10 a.m. Saturday.
