John McGurr Dead

The death of Mr. John McGurr, at No. 308 south Fourth street occurred at 5:30 o’clock yesterday morning. He was born January 24, 1844, and was both deaf and dumb. He was a son of the eight-year old lady who died about a week ago and had attended his mother’s funeral in apparently good health. It is thought that his death was brought about by a slight pulmonary complaint and intense grief at his mother’s death. The funeral services will be held from St. Paul’s church at two o’clock Sunday afternoon.
