MRS. DAN ADAIR—Mrs. Dan Adair, the former Bertha Jane Bertishofer, of Burlington, died suddenly on Friday at her home in San Fransico. Her death was attributed to a heart attack.

She was born in Burlington Feb 6, 1899, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Martin Bertishofer, and had made her home in the west for 9 years. Her parents are dead.

A sister, Mrs. Doren Trump, of Chicago, and her family, are en route to San Francisco by automobile having planned a visit at the Adair home and scheduled to reach there today.

Mrs. Adair is survived by 3 sisters, Mrs. Trump, Mrs. R. O. Morrison and Mrs. E. J. Morrison, of Burlington; 2 brothers, Glenn Bertishofer, of Burlington, and Walter, of Omaha Neb. The body will be brought here for burial at a time to be announced later.
