HENRY MONSON—Henry Monson, 75, year old life resident of the Salina vicinity, died shortly after 5 o'clock Friday afternoon in Jefferson County hospital. He had been hospitalized since Wednesday after having suffered a stroke last Saturday.

Monson was born at Salina on Nov. 24, 1872. He was married to Hilda Hagberg, of Ottumwa, on June 7, 1921. She survives. Monson was the last member of his family.

Services will be held at the Hoskins funeral home on June 21, at 2 p.m. Burial will be at Salina. Monson was a member of the Salina Presbyterian church.
