MRS. LEONARD MOORE

Mrs. Leonard Moore, 44, of 608 Hedge Ave. died Monday at 10:25 a.m. in Mercy hospital following an extended illness.

She was born in Newport Ia., Oct 26, 1902 the daughter of Thoms and Cora Cosgrove Baird. Jan 23, 1928 she married Leonard Moore at Centerville. She spent most of her life in the Newport and Burlington vicinity. She was a member of St. Patrick's Catholic Church.

Surviving are her husband; one daughter, Jean at home; 8 sisters, Mrs. Earl Moyers and Mrs. Don Poggemiller, Wapello. Mrs. Max Griffin, Mrs. Cecil Hamilton, Mrs. Grant Nichols, Mrs. Orville Bryant and Mrs. Maurice Wilson, Morning sun and Mrs. William Mattson, Eivelesch, Minn. 3 brothers Dwight, Chicago; Rex, Morning Sun and Max in the U.S. Navy. Her parents, one brother and one sister are dead.

The body was taken to Giles funeral home.
