MRS. MAUDE STOCKMAN

Mrs. Maude Stockman, 85, of 809 N. sixth, died at 5:25 a.m. Friday at Mercy hospital after a long illness.

Born july 12, 1877, in Pennsylvaia, she was the daughter of Samuel and Mary Ellen Workman Fairall, and was married Aug. 20, 1912, at Iowa City to John William Stockman.

Mrs. Stockman was a member of First Presbyterian church.

Surviving are six nieces, Myrtle Stockman, West Burlington; Mrs. Philip Rohleder, Mrs. Ray Fischer and Mrs. Ed Cuddeback all of Burlington; Mrs. Lois Fairall, Ladora and Mrs. Herbert E. Hohl, Clearwater, Pa; and two grand nieces.

Her husband, who died in November of 1960, was for many years owner and operator of Kreicbaum and Dewien sheet metal shop here.

Private services will be at 2 p.m. Monday in Prugh's chapel the Rev. Roscoe Wolvington officiating. Burial will be in Aspen Grove.
