MRS. EDWARD SMITH
DIES IN HOSPITAL
SERVICES MONDAY

Mrs. Lida Smith, 48, of 628 South Gunnison street, died at St. Francis hospital early today after a 10 month illness.

Born in Burlington Dec. 12, 1885, Mrs. Smith had been a life resident of the city. She was married here Nov. 22, 1917 to Edward Smith, who survives. Mrs. Smith was a member of Bethany Lutheran church.

Surviving besides her husband are a daughter, Margaret Vollmer, by a previous marriage, and two sisters, Mrs. R. A. Fischer and Mrs. L. H. Beierle, Burlington.

Services will be held at hte resence Monday at 2:30 p.m. with burial in Aspen Grove cemetery. The Rev. R. R. Belter, pastor of Bethany Lutheran church will officiate.

The body will be taken to the residence from Unterkircher funeral home at 9 a.m. Monday.
