Charles William Fisher, 904 Oak street, died at his home at 10:45 a. m. Friday morning after a brief illness. He was born in Cincinnati, O., Dec. (1?)9, 1854, and has been a resident of Burlington for 65 years. he was married in Burlington in 1881 to Julia Fenske. for many years he was well known as a piano tuiner, but retired some years ago.

Surviving are his wife and 6 children, Richard, Mrs. Arthur Lehman, Harry, Oscar and Mrs. William Moore of Burlington, and William Fisher of Tigard, Ore,: 9 grandchildren, 4 great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews. Two children preceded him in death. Three grandsons are in service.

Funeral services will be held at a time to be announced later. The body is at Prugh's Chapel.
