Frances Evelyn Chandler, 77, 1024 S. Ave B.Washington, a native of Danville, died Tuesday Aug. 27, 1985 in the Washington County Hospital. She was born Aug. 30, 1907 to Guy and Ada Seymour at Danville. She married James Wilber Chandler on May 21, 1931 at Danville. Mrs. Chandler was a member of the Washington United Methodist Church a graduate of Danville High School and Iowa State University. Surviving her husband: a daughter Patricia Keough Boone, a son Stan Hampton: two grandchildren: a sister Florence Hauge, Graettinger; and a brother Russell Seymour, Danville. Funeral: 11a.m. Thursday James Funeral Home, Washington, the Rev. Walter Phelps pastor of Washington United Methodist Church, and the Rev. Clifford Ellerbeck, Hampton. Graveside rites will be at 2p.m. Thursday at Jagger Cemetery near Danville. A memorial has been established for her church."
