Mr John Senn, Sr., 75, formerly of Conner Avenue, died at Burlington hospital at 6:15 p.m. where he had been a patient two days.
He was born Apr. 16, 1888, in Burlington, the son of Rudolph and Barbara Moehn Senn. On Apr. 20, 1909, he married Katherine Beockel at Burlington. She died in 1947.
Mr. Senn was a retired machinist at Murray Iron Works.
Survivors include eight children, John, Jr., of 2608 Yoder Drive; Mrs. Ruth Edmark of 2901 Kirkwood; Robert A., 2217 S 12th; Walter of 546 Ramsey, West Burlington; Mrs. Virginia Luttenegger, 505 Swan, West Burlington; Mrs. Esther Schroeder of New London; Frank of Pittsburgh, Pr,. Mrs. Ethel Helms, 2205 S 13th; 18 grand and 10 great-grandchildren; a brother, Albert of Trenton N.J.; a sister Mrs. Laura Schwietzer of Burlington. A daughter, four brothers and three sisters are dead.
Services will be Saturday 1:30 p.m. in Elliott-Lunning Chapel with the Rev. G. A. Saathoff officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Park cemetery.
