Mrs. Ruth M. Hartman, 89, og 8179 Warner, Fremont, Mich. a native of Burlington, died at 3 p.m. Friday, Feb. 8, in Fremont.

She was born April 26, 1895 to Paul and Amelia Luchner Hertel, in Burlington, where she married Clarence C. Hartman on Aug. 30, 1921; he died Dec. 30, 1977.

Mrs. Hartman was a member of St. John Catholic Church, Daughters of Isabella, Hawkeye Natives, World War I Auxiliary, and St. Francis Auxiliary, of which she was a past president.

Survivng; son, Robert, Syracuse, N.Y.; daughter; Mary Rose, Fremont, Mich.; nine grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren.
