Frank Lawrence Rice , 84, of Danville, Died Wednesday, Sept. 16, 1987, at the New London Care Center.

Born Oct. 12, 1902, in Danville, he was the son of Harry and Nettie Bolton Rice. He married Mildred Funk May 1, 1937, in Danville.

He was a retired farmer and the oldest active member of Danville's First Baptist Church.

Surviving are his wife; three brothers, John Rice, Leesburg, Fla. Earl Rice, Davenport, and Milo Rice, Danvill; two sisters, Mrs. Mable Voorhees Santa Monica, Calif. and Mrs. Vera Callaway, Burlington.

Burial will be in Jaggar Cemetery.
