Services for Joseph A. Hartman, 68, Burlington route three who died suddenly at his home Oct. 20, will be 2p.m. Thursday at Wallen's chapel. The Rev. L.Z. Patton will officiate. Burial will be in Memorial Park cemetery.

A county inspector, Hartman was born June 17, 1889, in Burlington, the son of Joseph and Edith A. Hartman. He married the former Edith E. Hanny here on April 3, 1917

Surviving are his wife; a daughter, Mrs. Rodney Streed, Roswell, New Mexico, two brothers, Arthur A. and William J. Hartman, Burlington; two sisters, Mrs. Fred Franklin, Spring Grove and Mrs. Charles Anderson, Berwyn, Illinois and four grandchildren. Two brothers are dead.
