Mrs. Myrtle Callaway

Mrs. Myrtle M. Callaway, 82, od 314 Leffler, West Burlington, died at 7 a.m. Wednesday, Jan. 8, in Burlington hospital.

She was born Aug. 12, 1886, in Burlington, the daughter of James and Fannie Carr Alber. Feb. 15, 1905, in Pleasant Grove she married Charles Homer Callaway.

She was a member of St. Paul Church of Christ and the Ladies Fellowship of the church.

Surviving: The husband; two sons, Earl L. and Lester Callaway, both of Burlington; four daughters, Mrs. Rolland(Ruth)Hagerla, West Burlington, Mrs. William(Hazel)Moore, Danville, Mrs. Wayne(Maxine)Mathews, Cedar Falls, and Mrs. Frank(Vivian) McKinnon, New London; 17 grandchildren; and 22 great-grandchildren.
