Charles Henry Brandt

Services for Mr. Charles Henry Brandt, 65, of 1513 Thul, who died Tuesday at a farm west of Yarmouth, will be Friday at 2 p.m. from Prugh's Chapel. Dr. G. Dempster Yinger will officiate. Burial will be in Memorial Park mausoleum.

He was born Dec. 15, 1896, in Des Moines county, the son of Herman H. and Elizabeth Sleeter Brandt. On Feb. 29, 1936, at West Burlington, he married Grace E. Pforts.

Surviving are: his wife, one son, James H. Brandt, Burlington; one daughter, Mrs. Verle(Marjorie)Johnson, Rt. 3; two brothers, Harold Brandt, Burlington, Remus Brandt, Alberta Canada; two sisters, Mrs. Art Lorenz, Burlington; Mrs. Mary K. Anderson, Burlington; two grandchildren and a number of nieces and nephews. His parents and one son died earlier.
