David Ross Sylvester

DANVILLE - David Ross Sylvester, 36, died Thursday, Dec. 4, in Veterans hospital, Tucson, Ariz.

He had been in a coma since being struck by an automobile in Tucson Nov. 22.

Born April 12, 1942, Batavia, he was the son of Ross and Dorothy Downey Sylvester. He was an electrician and a member of the United Methodist church.

Surviving: his mother, in Danville, two brothers, Robert Sylvester, Scottsdale, Ariz., and Daniel Sylvester, Middletown; sister, Diane McDowell, Burlington; half-brother, Kenneth Sylvester, St. John, Ariz.; and two half-sisters, Dorothy Downey, Buckeye, Ariz., And Mary Dean, Decatur, Ill.

The body is at Elliot Chapel, New London.
