Walter Lewis Beck, 80, of Danville, died at 5:45 p.m. Friday in Klein Memorial hospital, Burlington.

He was born Jan. 28, 1886, at Danville. Dec. 31, 1917 he married Neul K. Miller in Danville. He was a retired farmer, and member of the First Baptist Church, Danville, Master Farmers of America, Masonic lodge 48 AF & AM of Omar Commandry and Chapter 514 of Order of Eastern Star.

Surviving: A son, Waith, of Danville; two daughers, Mrs. Ruthella Campbell, Danville, and Mrs. Kathleen Girvin, Oak Lawn, Ill., seven grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, and a brother, Herman Beck, Weslaco, Tex.

Services: Monday 2:30 p.m. First Baptist Church, Danville, Rev. Gilbert LaFrance and Rev. Horace Ireland, Jaggar Cemetery. The body is at Elliot-Lunning Chapel, Burlington.
