Wilma Iserman
Wilma Leora Iserman, 88, of Danville, died Wednesday, March 26, 2003, at Danville Care Center.
Born Jan. 31, 1915, in West Chester, she was the daughter of Walter and Elizabeth Leet. On Nov. 29, 1943, she married Raymond Fredrick Iserman in Oskaloosa.
Mrs. Iserman taught school in Henry and Washington counties.
She was a graduate of West Chester High School and attended Iowa State University, where she received her teaching certificate. She was a member of Danville Methodist Church.
Survivors include her husband; one daughter, Teresa Hardin of Oakville; one grandson; one great-granddaughter; one brother, Harold Leet of Elkton, Va.; and one sister, Betty Bishop of Washington.
She was preceded in death by her parents, one son, two sisters and one brother.
Visitation will be from noon to 7 p.m. today and after 9 a.m. Friday at Elliott Chapel in New London. There will be no family visitation.
The funeral for Mrs. Iserman will be at 2 p.m. Friday at Elliott Chapel, with the Rev. Richard Latta officiating. Burial will be in Prairie Grove Cemetery in West Burlington.
Memorials have been established for the American Cancer Society and Great River Hospice.
