Doris Inverarity
Doris E. Inverarity, 58, of Burlington, died Wednesday, June 18, 2003, at her home.
Born Jan. 8, 1945, in Burlington, she was the daughter of Francis Dewey and Elaine H. Price Dietsch.
Mrs. Inverarity worked in retail for the Wal-Mart Supercenter. She was a member of the Salvation Army Corps church. She loved to read, play bingo and collect spoons.
Survivors include one son, Les W. Belcher of Burlington; one daughter, Elaine A. Martin of West Burlington; two grandsons, and two sisters, Delanna Harris of Milan, Ill., and Caroline Ashing of Burlington.
She was preceded in death by her parents, one son, one brother and one granddaughter.
Visitation will begin after noon Tuesday in the Lunning Chapel where the family will receive friends from 6:30 until 8 p.m.
A memorial graveside funeral service for Mrs. Inverarity will be Wednesday at 10 a.m. in the Prairie Grove Cemetery with the Rev. Allen Otto officiating. The body has been cremated.
A memorial has been established for the Salvation Army Food Pantry.
