Daryll Marcus Stucker, 76, of Santa Ana, Calif., formerly of Mount Pleasant, died Nov. 1, 2007, at his home.

Born Oct. 31, 1931, in Burlington, he was the son of Howard Marcus and Wilhelmenia Blixt Stucker. He was married from 1953 to 1958 and then divorced.

Mr. Stucker was a retired real estate investor. He farmed in Iowa and worked at the A&P Food store in Mount Pleasant. He moved to California in the 1960s.

He served in the Iowa National Guard. He was a 1950 graduate of Mount Pleasant High School. He earned his pilot's license in Mount Pleasant. He enjoyed hunting and fishing and going to yard sales and flea markets.

Survivors include two brothers, Wendell Stucker of Orange, Calif., and Robert Stucker of Shoreview, Minn.; one sister, Darlene Shofe of Burlington; one niece; five nephews; seven grandnieces and one grandnephew.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Mr. Stucker's body was cremated.

A memorial service was Nov. 17 in Santa Ana.

There will be no local visitation or service. The private family graveside inurnment will be at a later date in Shinar Cumberland Presbyterian Cemetery, Pleasant Grove.

A memorial has been established for Shinar Cumberland Presbyterian Church.

Accu-Care Cremation Center of Fullerton, Calif., was in charge of arrangements.
