Margaret DeVitalis

Margaret DeVitalis, infant daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Arthur D. DeVitalis, 343 Grimes court, died suddenly Monday morning.

According to the physician handling the case, the mother was attempting to feed the infant about 5 a.m. The baby apparently strangled, and was dead. An autopsy was performed at Mercy hospital, and reports indicated the child had died of virus pneumonia.

The baby was born April 8, 1956.
The body will be taken to Giles funeral home, then transferred to Monmouth, Ill.
