Kenneth Getchell

Kenneth A. Getchell, 84, of Portland, Ore., died Saturday, June 3, 1995, at the Good Samaritan Hospital in Portland.

Born Nov. 28, 1910, at Bemidji, Minn., he was the son of Edward Roland and Clara Mae Springer Getchell.

He was a member of the Arleta Baptist Church in Portland and the VFW and was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II. Mr. Getchell had been a production worker at J.I. Case Co. in Burlington.

Survivors include one brother, Wayne Getchell of Burlington; two sisters, Betty O'Conner of Missoula, Mont., and Jean Margaret Getchell of Georgia; and several nieces and nephews.

The body has been cremated.

A private burial will be at a later date in Aspen Grove Cemetery.
