Dorthy Marie Pforts Toncer

Mrs. Dorothy Marie Pforts Toncer, 79, Phoenix, Ariz., a native of Des Moines County, died eunexpectedly while staying with a niece, Donna Winter, 4101 W. 18th, Wichita, Kan., Wednesday, May 15.

She was born April 18, 1915. She married the late Rudy Toncer, June 27, 1941, in Burlington.

Mrs. Toncer was employed by the Phoenix school system.

Surviving: Sister, Daisy Irene Pforts Wunnenberg, Burlington.

The body was cremated and the ashes will be buried in Bohemian National Cemetery, Cedar Rapids, at 2 p.m. Monday.
