JOHN EDWARD BEHNE John Edward Behne, 82, of 79 Western Pines, West Burlington, died in Klein Memorial Hospital at 10:10 p.m. Sunday Sept 29.
He was born May 15, 1903 in Burlington to William and Margaret Wamgsgans Behne. He married Helen Ruth Taylor Jan. 20, 1940 at Dallas City, Ill.
Mr. Behne was a retired meat cutter. He was a member of Masonic orders.
Surviving: his wife and a sister Margaret Garrison, Burlington.
Committal 1 p.m. Thursday in Memorial Park Cemetery the Rev. Richard Gilbert. A Masonic service will be conducted at the graveside. A memorial has been established for Burlington Medical Center Cancer Division.
