Cleo Robertson

Cleo Robertson, 85, of the Eastern Star Masonic Home, of Boone, and formerly of New London and Mount Pleasant, died Friday, July 24, 1992, at Boone County Hospital.

Born June 18, 1907, in New London, she was the daughter of Charles and Irene Holland Robertson.

She was an accountant for Shaeffer Motors in Mount Pleasant and also worked for the American Cancer Society for several years. She was a 50 year member and past worthy matron of New London Chapter 440 of the Order of Eastern Star and was a member of the Methodist church.

Survivors include a niece, Lyn Brader of Mediapolis, and a nephew, Lee Robertson of Oakville.

She was preceded in death by her parents, a brother, and a sister.

Her body has been donated to the University of Iowa Medical School. A memorial will be held at a later date.
