Jeanna Renae Lynch

Jeanna Renae Lynch, 31, of North Liberty, Iowa (formerly of Burlington) died at 11:43 p.m. on Thursday, August 23, 2007, at Great River Medical Center in West Burlington, as a result of a courageous battle with epilepsy.

Born May 12, 1976, in Burlington, she is the daughter of Donald and Irene Baumler Lynch. Jeanna graduated from Burlington Community High School in 1995. She worked at Red Lobster and Goodwill Industries in Iowa City. Jeanna was a member of St. Paul's Catholic Church. She enjoyed animals and nature, including fish and butterflies. She was passionate about dancing and singing karaoke, especially to Shania Twain. Jeanna was a loving and caring daughter, sister, and aunt. She will be remembered for her enthusiasm to enjoy life, including work and play.

Survivors include her parents; two sisters, Julie (Dr. Mark) Buettner of Burlington and Jill Lynch of Minnetonka, Minnesota; one nephew, Drake William Stanbary and one niece, Julia Rose Buettner, both of Burlington; and her maternal grandmother, Theresa Franzen Baumler of Fort Atkinson.

She was preceded in death by paternal grandparents, John and Eleanor Lynch; and maternal grandfather, Raymond Baumler.

Family will be present to greet relatives and friends from 4 to 7p.m. at St. Paul's Catholic Church, 508 N. 4th St, Burlington, on Sunday, August 26. The visitation will conclude with a Christian Wake Service at 7 p.m. officiated by with Father Ronal Legerme.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10a.m. at St. Paul's Catholic Church on Monday, August 27. Burial will be at 4p.m. at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Cemetery in Lawler.

Memorials will be established in Jeanna Lynch's name.
