Carlota Cisneros
Carlota Cisneros, 78, of Burlington, formerly of Lomax, Ill., died Sunday, Sept. 9, 2007, at 4:45 a.m. at Great River Medical Center in West Burlington.

Born Nov. 11, 1928, in Guanajuato, Mexico, she was the daughter of Augustine and Catalina Camacho. In 1952 she married Fernando Cisneros. He preceded her in death.

Mrs. Cisneros lived most of her adult life in Lomax. She attended Lomax Church of the Nazarene. She lived in Indiana for the past 7 years, returning to Burlington last month.

Survivors include four sons, Isidore Cisneros of Santa Paula, Calif., Fernando Cisneros Jr. of Carman, Ill., Roberto Cisneros of Crown Point, Ind., and Rolando Cisneros of South Bend, Ind.; five daughters, Carlotta Castillo and Ana Berta Cisneros of Lomax, Rose Ann Lindo of Burlington, Delia Martinez of Chicago, and Angelita Cisneros of South Bend; grandchildren; great-grandchildren; and one brother, Felix Camacho of Matamoros, Mexico.

Besides her husband, she was preceded in death by two sons and two grandsons.

Visitation will be from 3 to 8 p.m. today at Banks & Beals Funeral Home in Dallas City, Ill. where the family will receive friends from 6 until 8 p.m.

The funeral for Mrs. Cisneros will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Lomax Church of the Nazarene with the Revs. John and Bettyanna Bremer officiating. Burial will be at Carman Cemetery.

A memorial has been established.
