Irving W. Burrell

Irving Washington Burrell, a native of Olena, Ill., died Saturday morning at the university of Illinois research hospital in Chicago.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Olena church. Rev. Charles Mann of Biggsville will officiate and burial will be in the Olena cemetery.

He was born in Olena, Dec. 28, 1876, the youngest son of Sylvester and Ann Burrell. He married Jessie Elnora Dowell Sept. 15, 1897 and Maude Long, Jan. 28, 1908. Both are dead.

Survivng are one son, Floyd Burrell, Burlington; three daughters, Mrs. Eva McIntyre of Olena, Mrs. Inez Swink of Starke, Fla., and Mrs. Ruby Coon of Burlington; also two sisters, Georgetta Burrell and Mrs. Lydia Pryor of Olena; 2 brothers, Daniel of Oquawka and Burton of Olena; 6 grand children, 6 great-grandchildren.
