Telegraph Herald (Dubuque, IA) - Saturday, October 2, 1999

DYERSVILLE, Iowa - Melissa Ann Goedken, infant daughter of Jerry and Karol Goedken, of Dyersville, died at birth Thursday, Sept. 30, 1999, at University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics, Iowa City.

Private joint burial services for her and her twin brother Mitchell will be held Monday in St. Francis Cemetery, Dyersville. The Kramer Funeral Home, Dyersville, is in charge of arrangements.

Surviving are her parents; her grandparents, Leon and Karen Funke, of Dyersville, and John and Marilyn Goedken, of Petersburg; her great-grandparents, Regina Funke, Agnes Rahe and Sylveria Kramer, all of Dyersville; and many aunts, uncles and cousins.

She was preceded in death by her twin brother, Mitchell; and an uncle, Christopher Goedken.
