Last Tuesday Mr. H. A. Dyer, of Manchester, received letter from Mr. John Cousins, living in Kansas, stating that Mr. William Axford, Jr., not long a resident of Hazel Green Township, Delaware County, had committed suicide by cutting his throat. He survived the wound five days. As yet no cause is known for this awful act. The suicide was married last summer and apparently living happily in his new home. His circle of friends in Delaware County was quite large; by them he was regarded as a young man of moral integrity and worth.
