RUDOLPH KRAGENBRINH
(HOPKINTON LEADER)
~
Rudolph Kragenbrink, one of the prominent farmers of Buck Creek community, died last evening, a victim of pneumonia. His death is a shock to a wide circle of friends. Mr. Kragenbrink had been Good Samaritan during the weeks that the epidemic has been raging in his community, assisting his neighbors and exerting himself in relief of the sick. His own family were afflicted and safely passed through the disease and Rudolph was congratulating himself to friends only a few days ago that he seemed to carry a charm against attack. But last week the disease germs found a way to his system, and on Monday pneumonia took hold. On Wednesday evening it had accomplished its deadly work. Mr. Kragenbrink was an outstanding character in his neighborhood, a man of influence, and one who took great interest in community affairs. His passing in the prime of his life is a distinct loss to the community.
