Earlville, Ia. July 10 – Special:
Funeral services for Mrs. Rudy Moser were held at the Lutheran Church Monday afternoon conducted by Rev. F. Lutz, pastor. The large attendance at the funeral attested to the high esteem to which the decease was held. Burial was made in Fairview Cemetery.

Nellie Freda Caroline Rafoth, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Frank Rafoth, was born at the family homestead south of Earlville on July 20th 1887, and died at the home of her brother Henry Rafoth, Saturday, July 6th, 1918, aged 30, 11 months and 16 days. She was united in marriage to Rudy Moser on December 18, 1912. Rev. F. Lutz performing the marriage ceremony. To this union three children were born, two of whom preceded their mother in death.

She is survived by her husband and a five year old son, her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Frank Rafoth, four brothers Henry, Charles, George, and Rudolph, and three sister, Emma, Clara and Hilda Rafoth.

Mrs. Moser was a devout Christian woman having been confirmed in the Lutheran Church on March 31st, 1901. She was known throughout the neighborhood and her untimely passing has occasioned deep sorrow to her relatives and friends.
