EARLVILLE

On Thursday morning occurred the death of John, the nine year old son of Mr. and Mrs. Stephen Matthews, at their home, six miles north of town. he had been sick only since Sunday and death resulted from croup. The funeral was held from the home Saturday forenoon. Rev. Paxton conducting the services.
