PATRICK CROWE

The death of Patrick Crowe of Monti occurred at the home of his sister, Mrs. John Devlin, of Calder, Saskatchewan, Canada, last Thursday night.

The deceased arrived at the home of his sister, Wednesday evening for a visit. The following day he was apparently in the best of health and spent the day driving through the surrounding country, and viewing the land. He returned to the Devlin home to remain for the night. Friday morning he was found dead in his bed. Upon investigation it was found that his sudden death was due to heart failure. The remains arrived here Wednesday evening.

The funeral services were held at St. Patrick's church at Monti. Interment was made in St. Patrick's cemetery. The paul bearers were; Michael Kelly, Dennis Baragary, Jas. Coleman, Jas. Gaffney, P. Loughren, and James McGuire.

Patrick Crowe was forty seven years and two months old when he died. He was born on the old homestead where he resided until a few days before his death. He was united in marriage to Miss Anna Kelly of Winthrop twenty one years ago. To this union was born six children, three daughters and four sons. Three sons have preceded him to the grave.

He is survived by his wife, daughters, Anna and Marguerite, and son Dennis Crowe of Monti, his sitsters, Mrs. James Coleman of Coggon, Mr. Emma Casey of Allan, Sask., Canada, and Mrs. John Devlin of Calder, Sask., Canada, all of whom were present at the funeral, excepting Mrs. Casey and Mrs. Devlin.
