April 13, 1943 -- Nov. 11, 2011 Laverne L. Ingles, 68, of Keokuk died Friday, Nov. 11, 2011, at Lexington Square, Keokuk.

He was born on April 13, 1943, in Independence, the son of Adron and Leola Hunt Ingles.

Laverne spent most of his life in Woodward, moving to Keokuk in 2007.

He is survived by a half-brother, Wilbur Young of Hazleton.

He was preceded in death by his parents and a half-brother, Melvin Young.

Services will be at 2:30 p.m. Monday at Vigen Memorial Home, Keokuk, with Bro. Bill Hauser officiating.

Visitation will be one hour before the services at the funeral home.

Graveside services will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday in Fairview Cemetery, Earlville.
