MANCHESTER-Services for Elvin R. Reth, 62, Manchester councilman from the First Ward, who died Sunday at the Delaware County Memorial Hospital following a short illness, will be 1:30 p.m. Wednesday at the Shelly Funeral Home Chapel; burial in Fairview Cemetery in Earlville; survivors include his wife, Alice; a son, Raymond of Manchester; a brother, Ivan of California; two half-brothers, Chancey and Carl, both of California; a half-sister, Jean of California; two stepbrothers, Boyd Worrington of Com, Okla., and BenWorrington of Cedar Rapids; two stepsisters, Mrs. Francie (Edith) Meader of Mount Vernon and Mrs. Merle (Ruby) Finley of Belle Plaine.
