Geraldine McIntosh, 89, of Grinnell died of cancer Friday at Friendship Manor there. Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Monday at United Church of Christ-Congregational in Grinnell, of which she was a member. Graveside services will be at 3:30 p.m. Monday at Fairview Cemetery in Earlville.

Mrs. McIntosh was born in Earlville and had lived in Manchester and Cedar Rapids before moving to Grinnell in 1968. She was a homemaker and a member PEO Chapter JB. She enjoyed golf and crafts.

She is survived by a daughter, Sharon Schermerhorn of Okeechobee, Fla; two sons, David of Eden Prairie, Minn., and Stephen of Palmdale, Calif.; six grandchildren; and a great-grandchild. She was preceded in death by her husband, John.

Friends may call after noon Sunday at Smith Funeral Home in Grinnell, where the family will be present from 2 to 4 p.m. Memorial contributions may be made to Grinnell Regional Hospice or her church.
