MARENGO, Iowa - James Lee Uden, 76, of Marengo, died Friday, Jan. 18, 2013, at the Marengo Memorial Hospital.

Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Monday, Jan. 21, at

St. John's Lutheran Church, Marengo, with the Rev. Andrew Gray officiating. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery, Earlville. Friends may call from

2 to 5 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 20, at Kloster Funeral Home, Marengo.

Surviving are his wife, Esther, of Marengo; two sons, Joel Uden (Deb), of Coralville, and Jeff Uden (Nancy), of Hudson; two daughters, Cheryl Zumbach (Kevin), of Dubuque, and Julie Engelken, of Ankeny; 11 grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents; and a daughter, Sandra.

A memorial fund has been established.
