Irene M. Cornwell, 76, of Earlville, died Saturday, Jan. 28, 2006, in St. Luke's Hospital, Cedar Rapids, following complications of a stroke. Services: 10 a.m. Tuesday, Immanuel Lutheran Church, Earlville, by the Rev. Roger McKinstry. Friends may call from 3 to 8 p.m. today at Clifton-Murdoch Funeral Home & Cremation Service in Earlville and one hour before services Tuesday at the church. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery, Earlville.

Survivors include her husband, Vernon; eight children, Terry Cornwell of Lamont, Karen Rettinger of Manchester, Rick Cornwell of Delaware, Brenda Letts of Manchester, Michael Cornwell of Earlville, Rhonda Cornwell of Earlville, Rodney Cornwell of Lamont and Linda Cornwell of Earlville; two brothers, Robert Hutchinson of Manchester and Richard Hutchinson of Edgewood; and a sister, Della Letner of Cedar Rapids.
