Elma T. (Klostermann) Naber 1927-2009

Elma Naber, 82, of Manchester, passed away April 8, 2009, at the Edgewood Convalescent Home. Mass of Resurrection: 2 p.m. Monday, April 13, at St. Mary's Catholic Church, Manchester, with the Rev. John Flaherty as celebrant. Friends may call from 3 to 8 p.m. Sunday at Leonard-Muller Funeral Home & Crematory in Manchester, with a Scripture service at 6 p.m., and after 1 p.m. Monday at the church. Interment: St. Joseph's Catholic Cemetery, Greeley.

Elma was born Feb. 28, 1927, to Frank and Theresa (Schneiders) Klostermann, of Petersburg, Iowa. She was united in marriage to Charles Naber Jan. 10, 1950, at St. Peter & Paul Catholic Church in Petersburg. Elma was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church of Manchester, St. Anne Study Club and Catholic Daughters of the Americas. Over the years, Elma enjoyed playing cards, crocheting, making strawberry jam for her grandchildren, gardening, the Chicago Cubs and spending time with family.

She will always be remembered for lighting up the room with her smile.

Elma's survivors include two daughters, Anne (Jim) Rave of Greeley and Patti (Dan) Seda of Swisher; six grandchildren, Chad (Kristal) Rave and Allison Rave of Greeley, Jered Rave of Springville, Nathan Klein of Waverly Hall, Ga., Stephanie Klein and Blake Seda of Swisher; and her sister and best friend, Mary Ann Bockenstedt of Strawberry Point.

Elma was preceded in death by her husband, Charlie, in 2000; a son, Ronald Naber, in 1970; her parents; and six brothers, Harold, Eddie, Lawrence, Arnold, Ray and her twin brother, Elmer "Bud" Klostermann.

Elma's family would like to thank the staff of the Edgewood Convalescent Home for their incredible kindness and compassion.
