Floyd S. Kling
Floyd Sterling Kling, 1722 Bever avenue SE, a salesman for Meyers-Cox Co. before his retirement, died Sunday following a brief illness.
Born July 17, 1889, at Masonville, he was married to Ruth Reeves Aug. 7, 1920, at Waterloo. Surviving in addition to his wife are two sisters, Mrs. R. P. Drexler of Coggon and Mrs. Joseph Herman of Manchester. A sister, Mrs. Glenn Dunn, preceded him in death.
Mr. Kling was a veteran of World war I. He was a member of St. Paul's Methodist church, Hanford post, American Legion, and the Cedar Rapids Chamber of Commerce.
Memorial services: Turner chapel at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday by Dr. Jackson Burns. Burial: Oakland cemetery at Manchester where graveside services will be conducted at 3: p.m. by the American Legion. Friends may call at the chapel.
