TELEGRAPH-HERALD AND TIMES JOURNAL, January 1, 1930

Manchester, Ia. Jan. 1. – Special: Funeral services for Henry Klick, 78, a resident of this county for 44 years, who died at his home southeast of Manchester, Christmas day, were held from his home Saturday, The Rev. J. F. Moore of this city officiated. Burial was made in Oakland Cemetery here.

Mr. Klick was born in Hampshire, Kane County, Illinois, on April 15, 1851 and was the youngest of a family of 10 children, all of whom preceded him in death. He grew to manhood there and was married to Miss Elizabeth Tyson, who died May 1, 1902.

In 1885, Mr. and Mrs. Klick came to Delaware County and settled on a farm near Manchester. He gave up active farming in 1908 and in recent years has resided on a small farm where his death occurred. Two children were born to this union, both of whom survive. Asa Klick of Dundee, and Ruth, who resided with her father.
