WILLIAM “WILL” BASKERVILLE

Funeral arrangements for Will Baskerville, 84, who died at his home at Earlville, are awaiting word of relatives in the west.

Baskerville who spent his life in this vicinity, worked as a clerk in a general merchandise store here for more than 58 years. He retired in November, 1948, because of ill health. He married Nellie Ede in October, 1902. He was born Jan. 25, 1865 on a farm north of here, the son of Mr. and Mrs. William Baskerville.

Surviving are his wife, Mrs. W. E. Burke, of Earlville and a daughter.

Baskerville served as treasurer of the Methodist Church for many years and for a long period was city clerk. He was also a member of the Community Club.
